Construction Waste Innovation

The Construction Waste Innovation project is a collaborative endeavour between CCI, the Environment Agency and Manchester City Council, which started in July 2012.

The project has three work packages:

  1. Engagement with Construction SMEs around waste issues including fly-tipping; (initially in Greater Manchester)
  2. Exploring new ways to incentivise behavioural change around construction waste; and
  3. Examining innovations in engaging with local communities for rapid responses to fly-tipped waste.

Engagement with Construction SMEs

CCI has established an action learning group for Construction SMEs - the Waste Innovation Network - WIN.  Construction SMEs in Greater Manchester are welcome to join this network and to attend its workshops - all free of charge. For further details please check our Events listings and contact tony.baldwinson@ccinw.com for details.

Further details of this project will be posted here as the project progresses.
