The Modern Built Environmental Knowledge Transfer Network Launch Innovation Competition

The Modern Built Environmental Knowledge Transfer Network (MBEKTN) is launching an exciting new innovation competition with Technology Strategy Board, UK Green Building Council and Marks and Spencer.

 

The competition is for exemplary new or near to market innovations to win a chance be included in Marks and Spencer’s new Sustainable Learning Stores. Specifically the competition is seeking solutions in the challenges of:

·         0% construction waste to landfill

·         Increasing the use of recycled content in construction materials

·         Energy reduction and efficiency

·         Water reduction and efficiency

 

The competition is now open and successful entries will be shortlisted and displayed in the ‘innovation zone’ at Ecobuild 2012 (March 20-22).
